Meenakshi Sheshadri is a Hindi film actress. She won the Miss India contest in 1981, and made her film debut in Painter Babu (1983). She shot to fame with the hit film Hero (1983) directed by Subhash Ghai. In her career, she has acted in over 80 films. She also has a career as a Bharatnatyam, Kathak, and Odissi teacher-dancer. Presently she is married and lives with her family in the United States.
