Description Rahul Jaykar (Aditya Roy Kapur) is a celebrity singer who has got everything easy in-life (fame, success, money) but this raging alcoholic has never appreciated or valued what he has received and as a result his once glorious carrier is now setting sun. In a chance encounter he meets a bar singer, Aarohi Keshav Shirke (Shraddha Kapoor) a simple ethnic girl from a middle-class household and gets mesmerised by her voice, he vows to make her the next big thing in the music industry. Aarohi swept by a star believing in her talent readily quits her job to fulfil her dream. Rahul gives his soul to building her career and they begin to fall in love. As their love blossoms, Aarohi rises to success but Rahul's downfall begins to gravitate to ground zero. He begins to fear that his alcoholism will cost Aarohi her career and tries to pull away for her sake. While the taunts of the world and the illness pull them apart Aarohi fights to hold on the love of her life and in their battle for each other they come face to face with the meaning of true love.
