The sucesses and failures of the inner aspirations of a human being have been wonderfully revealed by Shakespeare in his masterpiece, "As you like it". The journey from the advent of life to its ultimate realisation has been described through seven stages. Tagore has also depicted similar chapters of life in his numerous songs, poems and other literary works. However while Shakespeare has presented it in a very realistic and physical form, Tagore adds to it a philosophical perspective. TagorEspeare attempts to bring together the combined thoughts of these two stalwarts through a musical interpretation.
