Description Ritu, a young widow, gets a school teacher's job from the education department of the State Government to teach in a rural village. But when she gets there she is told there is no school. On query she comes to know that the school had burnt down many years ago and the previous teacher had been collecting salary until he retired. In other words the school had only been existing on paper, the previous teacher had retired on paper and Ritu gets her new job on paper. It would be enough to turn anyone into a cynic, but not Ritu. She takes it as a challenge and starts her own little school under a great big tree.
