The film shows how religion has become a contradiction to integration, far flung from its basic, simple truths of love and brotherhood among people. Religion thrives on 'tolerance' for another religious group or 'non-tolerance' which have both led to fanaticism today. It unfolds how these concepts result in separating more than in binding or bringing people of a neighbourhood, let alone a nation, together. One talks about progress, then, why are we letting ourselves be bogged down by inconsequential matters of discrimination and downplay on the basis of religion, caste, creed or tribe? The protagonists in the film question and cross-question the relevance of such identity.
