Description Minakshi (Nutan) wants to marry Rajesh (Pran) but her father does not believe he is a suitable match and so she runs away to Mumbai to meet Rajesh. A young man, Ashim (Shammi Kapoor), helps Minakshi to evade the police who are searching for her and they travel to Mumbai together. During the journey their initial attraction has grown to love but they decide to stay apart for a month to prove the strength of their feelings for each other. However, during their time apart her father announces her marriage to Rajesh. Will this be the end for Ashim and Minakshi or will love prevail?
